The SRO Internal line of Super Reef Octopus protein skimmers combines many great features into one package to create one of the best protein skimmers you can buy for the money. All Super Reef Octopus models are powered by the Bubble Blaster series pumps. While most skimmer pumps are modified water pumps, the Bubble Blaster pumps were designed from the ground up as a protein skimmer pump first. These 3 year warranted pumps are quiet running while having extremely high air pull and utilizing low wattage. This along with a internal bubble plate and an elongated cone neck increase contact time and lower turbulence which increase the amount of organics the Super Reef Octopus SRO skimmers can pull. Other features of the Super Reef Octopus protein skimmers are a large air silencer for increased noise reduction, easily adjusted gate valve on the water outlet for precision control, and a drain on the collection cup. There is also a 1 year warranty on the skimmer body. These skimmers are also available in an external variant known as the Super Reef Octopus EXT skimmer line.
