Geo GFO Reactor 412
The GEO granular ferric oxide (gfo) reactor
These reactors are designed to be used with granular ferric oxide, also know as "GFO". In most cases it is recommended that the media be used in a reactor that flows water from the base up so the media is allowed to slightly lift. This helps to prevent the media from forming a solid block and also prevents channeling allowing optimum flow through the GFO.
As with any of the GEO reactors these are built using high quality cast materials and all joints are bonded into a socket connection assuring a quality product that is built to last.
A twist lock lid eliminates the need for thumbscrews making maintenance easier for the user. Plumbing for both the feed and out put are 1/4" female national pipe thread and are through the lid allowing a smaller footprint.
1/2" hose barbs supplied for user installation.
Uses include but are not limited to: PO4 media, granular activated carbon, biological sand, calcium reactor effluent chamber.
